I'm gonna assume you're trying to connect the Ring keypads directly to HE, not to a Ring alarm system and then via the Ring integration to HE. That kind of integration is not available for every alarm panel and it is not always a good project for someone just starting their HE journey but it gives you a lot of flexibility in exchange for those red eyes. Then I integrate it with HSM so I can manipulate and extend the alarm system functionality with HE. My opinion, and it is just an opinion, is that I like a separate alarm system built for that purpose and monitored by a professional alarm company. There's a lot of discussion about using HSM as a replacement for a traditional alarm system.
